Raymond introduced the first - and still the only - electronic coast control system offered in North America. 

Electronic coast control allows the operator to fluidly engage and disengage coast without flipping levers or plungers. CoastPRO saves the operator an average of three seconds per pick stop, which can translate to more order picking time per hour. 

CoastPRO provides thumb activation or ‘engagement' buttons and an indicator light. The engagement buttons are placed within easy reach of the operator's thumb for effortless, ‘tactile' activation. The indicator light is positioned on top of the control handle to assist the operator in knowing when coast is engaged or disengaged.

CoastPRO was developed in response to changes made to the safety standard for low lift trucks (B56.1) in regard to coast control.
